April 23 Not even WednesdayIt's been awhile. I just haven't had a whole lot of time lately for this here blog. I'll do my best to hit on the highlights of the past few weeks.
- Jessica turned 3. The party was great. She still talks about it.
- Zach lost his first tooth on Jessica's birthday, and his second tooth 3 days later at her birthday party.
- Grandad came for another visit over Easter and the kids loved seeing him. I felt a little sad that I didn't get much of a chance to visit with him, but the house project took me away most of the weekend.
- Grandad brought Jessica her birthday present at Easter, and now she has her very first little girl two wheeler! It has training wheels of course, and she has no interest in riding, but maybe this summer. I seem to recall Zach was three and a half before he started riding.
- Mike has been working a lot lately, only 1 day off in the last 14. They had some big repairs come in. He now has today and tomorrow off in repayment for the extra hours he worked.
- The house is coming along slowly, and my contractor is a half step away from being fired. I came in one day and the house reeked of marjiuana. I should have fired him on the spot, but I knew I wouldn't find anyone to replace him. But now I've hired a second contractor. Someone skilled and very quick. My old contractor is getting tired out trying to keep up with the new guy. At least now he is replacable, and the work is moving a lot faster. I also have a prospective buyer for the house!
I will update pictures from Easter, and the birthday soon. I'm waiting for Grandad to send his photo card so I can put the pics on my computer. Hope all is well with everyone out there. Until the next time...
